2010-09-10 The Commander visited the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force (SOUTH) Headquarters (JIATF(S) HQ) in Key West Florida on 13 September 2010. The intent of this visit was for the Commander to introduce himself to Commander JIATF(S) and gain a better understanding of JIATF(S)'s role and repsonsibilities. Following this visit, the Commander attended Fiestas Patrias on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff in Mexico City 13-17 September 2010. The Mexico City visit included an office call with the Mexican Sub-Secretary of Defence, attendance at various events commemorating the 200th aniversary of Mexican independance and dinner with the Canadian Ambassador to Mexico. In accordance with protocol for Fiestas Patrias, the Commander's wife accompanied him on this trip. $3,523.88
2010-09-29 The Commander attended a Heroes Fund meeting and made a presentation to the Executive Leaders Pragramme at the Canadian Forces College. $1,084.77

The conference provided excellent networking opportunities and also provided a forum for discussions of mutual areas of concern. The main theme of this year's conference was the enhancement of overall interoperability with both military and Other Government Department mission partners. $954.00

2010-11-17 Coffee and muffins, lunches - Canadian Special Security Event (CSSE) Lessons Learned Symposium, 17-18 November 2010. The symposium brought together key Candadian Forces stakeholders and representatives from other agencies to explore lessons identified from the CF's involvement in providing support to the Vancouver 2010 Games and the G8/G20 Summits. $2,934.62
